Nu-l sufăr pe Neţoiu! Şi, prin asta, s-ar putea să vă par chiar simpatic. Dar numai cîteva secunde. Pentru că adaug: Neţoiu are totuşi un merit la primăvara dinamovistă.

Acum 5 ani, s-a înregistrat un moment unic în fotbalul mondial. Craiova, al cărei finanţator era Neţoiu, nu ştia cum să-l paseze mai repede şi mai ieftin pe cel mai bun jucător al său la Dinamo. “Cîinii” l-au transferat gratis, peste noapte.

Cînd o comisie federală l-a întors pe fotbalist în proprietatea Universităţii, s-a petrecut o scenă de neuitat. Viorel Ilinca, preşedintele oltenilor şi omul de încredere al lui Neţoiu, a ieşit în faţa clădirii şi a zis: “E inadmisibil să ne dea fotbalistul înapoi! Să se facă dreptate!”. Apoi şi-a dat seama de burlescul clipei şi s-a aruncat în maşină, hotărît să facă prima contestaţie din istorie prin care cineva solicita să piardă ceea ce tocmai cîştigase!

Şi Craiova l-a pierdut pe Claudiu Niculescu. Dar fotbalul nostru l-a cîştigat pe el şi o primăvară a lui Dinamo după 17 ani.
